highlights this week

*Monday we celebrated Josh having a "green" day by having peppermint ice cream for dessert :)

*On Tuesday, Joshua decided to wear a Santa hat to school. His teachers told me he went down the hall asking everyone what they wanted for Christmas. Later he came home and informed me that Ross Park [Mall] is our North Pole......because Santa lives there. His brothers, on the other hand, are acutely anti-Claus this year.

*Tuesday night was Noah & Matt's school Christmas concert. They both did an excellent job! Matt was excited to sing Christmas songs with his 1st grade class. And Noah's rhythm group sounded awesome -- like a mini version of Stomp. (Noah even got to bang trashcan lids together -- bonus!)

*Wednesday was "dress like an ornament" day at Eden. Matt obliged by wearing a red striped shirt and Santa hat. Noah refused to participate and wore all black.

*Wednesday night was the clubs concert at church. The kids' choir drama team, which Matt is a part of, performed a Christmas play. Matt was a "sign holder" (applause, gasp, etc) and took his job sprinkling confetti snow very seriously!

*On Thursday Joshua and I sang Christmas carols (of his choice) on the way home from school. Josh has his own versions...... Silent Night: "Sleep in heavenly sleep night". Joy to the World: "Let every heart repair him broom."

*Friday morning before school I found Matthew at his desk with his big box of 64 crayons. He was trying his best to change "64" to "63". When I asked why, he said the red one broke.
